Sound In Focus was established in 2006 while the founder was training at the University of Sheffield.  In a multi venue, busy environment solid experience was achieved engineering DJs, local bands and club nights, and valuable skills were accrued working with numerous high profile bands including La Roux, The Cribbs, Ash, Bellowhead, Pendulum, and Amy Winehouse as in-house crew.  Practical experience and attention to detail matters and is appreciated by our clients.

 

Sound In Focus has an understanding of the layout and workings of perfomance spaces and intuitively recognises musicians' needs.  Our engineers have a long association with music including choral and orchestral membership, jazz ensembles and big bands.  We work in numerous venues across the British Isles and at festivals including NozStock, BrisFest, Truck Festival, and Tramlines.  Sound In Focus has good links with other event companies in order to complement our high end, quality equipment, and to provide a full, bespoke service for festivals or your event.

 

 

We moved into new storage facilities on Milton Park, Didcot in 2013.
